Small Ornamental Hedge Cutting.

Retraining, Reshaping; Rejuvenating.

By #SOTG

“Complicated by stonework; when isn’t it?”

This has grown a little bit wild in fits and starts;

However the plan has always been clear by the person that started the design.

We have just been tasked with bringing it back into Design and Specification.

Return the aesthetic, to the form and the function.

“So out came the Echo & Stihl mini chainsaws…

& the Husqvarna 70cm Hedge Cutters.

Not to be confused with Hedge Trimmers…”

  1. Recut Hedge Lines, Shape & Definition.
  2. Rejuvenate Hedges to fill and enable new growth.
  3. Continue gradual sculpting and levelling of structural branch work and reduce to a tight regimentated shape.

in both height, width and Volume along the length of the Wall.

  • Decreasing height to encourage width & length; to complete original design and shape.

Initial brutal cutting has been done, edges returned to a cleaner line.

As the hedging recovers from the chainsaw work, the hedges will be re-tied and balanced on the supports holding them to the Stonework.
