It’s the bear in the woods syndrome.
They are out in the woods,
have the perfect campsite set up by a stream,
nice food supply near by, lush scenery and it feels good to be where they are;
so they don’t want to move.
Then each night they hear a strange rustling and
other sounds, movement.
“and when they wake up each morning
something has moved or changed.”
Some of them know there is a bear close by
and know what it could potentially do;
the others don’t want to talk about it
as it might mean they have to make changes
they would rather not.
Sooner or later though;
the bear is going to visit the tent because being left outside;
in the dark will not be enough.
The bear will want more
than just the picnic basket.
