If we sprayed it Blue; for a few hours it’s no good for you.
It’s a food grade Dye mixed with a nice surprise.
If it is on a Drive or Path; it is probably to stop weeds at play.
So off that path it is best to stay.
Give it at least 2 hours before on it; your pets can stray.
After that it should be fine; but best left till fully dry.
The blue will fade; but the footprints if stood on when wet are a pain.
It is best avoided for at least 4 hours.
Or at least if possible; till after the first rain shower.
It will need the sun for 8 hours and the dry; to achieve full power.

If it’s sprayed on the lawn, improvements for all.
We often spray to feed, nurture and care; or fix deficiencies.
We use a spray to sometimes indicate the overall state of a lawn.
So we can survey the lawn structure.
Or highlight problems we may need to deal with.
We will usually apply a feed or a formulae to save spraying twice.
This will usually be something the lawn needs; so is something nice.
Often mixed with Liquid Seaweed Extract & Epsom Salts; Nature’s tonics.
The blue will fade in a few days with constant steady sunlight.
Or will wash away with rain.
Enough of either sun or rain is required to fully dilute the Dye.

Product Details.
Sprayer and duster with a very long range.
Fitted with a quick 2-in-1 conversion mechanism.
For dusting and spraying granules.
Easy to start thanks to STIHL ElastoStart.
One-handed control with the multi-function handle.

The product guide from STIHL of course makes this out as an easy machine to start & run;
& it is once running &/or/if well looked after.

It is heavy, it is cumbersome; and it can be a pain in the arse.

However, it’s reliable in the right hands, consistent when required;
& can go all day if you keep topping it up.

It will cover decent coverage under cover, and decent on a still day outside if not.

Here you can see it being used, in combination with Blue Marker dye.

To spray a lawn Treatment of Iron Sulphate.
The Lawn is being prepared for a Moss & Thatch program.
& the lawn is to be Aerated and have a heavy sand treatment to start a levelling process.
While the lawn repair is undertaken to regrow a healthy lawn.

The Blue Marker Dye will fade over the space of a few days in natural Sunlight.
Or will wash away with rain.
It is a Food Grade Safe Dye.

We often use the same Blue Marker Dye; when we Spray other Treatments.
As when used accurately and with wind consideration;
It is highly effective & efficient.

Today Iron Sulphate is being used in Autumn, to show the Client the actual amount of Moss the lawn contains.
& the affect the Iron Sulphate will have on the remaining Grass.
As it is also a Grass Feed; used for Greening Lawns Seasonally.
& the other Larger Lawns would require treatments at a later date.

We will always aim to spray on large scales like this;
on dry sunny & still days.
Spray bookings are booked fully depending on;
The Wind and weather conditions of the day.
Indoor bookings are of course less of an issue.

For this session filming, the seasonal weather was in our favour.
As the drone footage shows in real time.
It is efficient & effective.

Enough of an issue was highlighted after spraying to begin further extensive treatments.

Iron Sulphate will start to kill the Moss encroachment.
That has slowly overran the lawn, and larger surrounding lawns.
Then thatch has invaded the space between; and is shocking the grass.
So as the moss dies off & turns a dark green into a crisped blackened colour.
The grass that has died previously will contrast whiter.
& the remaining Grass will start to Green.

We use this as an indication to judge large lawn complexes levels of infestations.
& we can then plan accordingly & be prepared for a longer booking slot.
As this process also shows animal or vermin activity runs.
& other problems with lawn or lawn structures.
Especially as can be seen.
combined with a drone shot or video showing the lawn;
From above and various angles; or differing lights.

Even at the optimum angle for a picture chosen shot.
You can still see the lawn is not pristine or in great overall health.

The green patching and islands or continents;
Can be seen more so as the light from the sun and wind or clouds roll over it.
The overview providing a 3D drop down shot and adding lines of structure to frame the lawn.
The hedge anchoring the scene.
The Lawn the canvas we are trying to turn into a single sheet of green.
That looks like you could lie down on it & soak in the sky above.
& bask in the sight of it.
In the morning sun as you gaze out of your bedroom window.
& see your children playing cricket on it.
